ACA Acupuncture and Wellness is a leading Chinese acupuncture provider in the U.S., renowned for its authentic treatments and easy-access locations across the New York metropolitan area. While specializing in acupuncture, we also offer a full spectrum of Traditional Chinese Medicine services, including cupping, herbal therapy, and more.

Our Story

The founders of ACA are highly accomplished Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) doctors who received rigorous training at Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

With over 20 years of clinical experience in both China and the U.S., they bring a deep understanding of holistic healing to their practice. ACA opened its first clinic in Washington Heights, New York City. Today, the brand operates 16 directly managed clinics and holds ownership in a total of 28 clinics across the United States. ACA has also built a professional network of TCM practitioners in multiple U.S. states and internationally.

ACA’s business covers two fields of the TCM Profession: ACA clinics and ACA Chinese herbal products. All of ACA’s clinics are operated with the highest standards. Our practitioners are all impeccably trained and state licensed TCM doctors. ACA Chinese herbal products only use high quality herbs that are grown under strict guidelines which mandate excellent soil in a controlled growing process, without contaminants.

Our Mission

ACA’s mission is to provide "a true traditional Chinese medical system" for the treatment and prevention of diseases, to benefit people around the world.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has a history of over 3,000 years. Before 1900, it was the primary medical system used throughout China—and to this day, it remains one of the two core healthcare systems in the country. TCM encompasses a complete system of healing, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, tuina (Chinese medical massage), and Qigong (a form of therapeutic exercise and meditation).

In recent years, TCM has gained global recognition and is now practiced in many parts of the world. However, the quality and effectiveness of care can vary significantly due to a lack of unified standards. At ACA, we are deeply committed to delivering the highest standard of Traditional Chinese Medicine—starting here in the United States and expanding across the globe.
